As the COVID-19 outbreak continues to spread throughout the communities where we all live and work, Taylor Creek Restoration Nurseries (TCRN) is taking steps to help protect the health and safety of our employees while continuing to serve our clients. In order to balance the needs of our staff and our projects, TCRN is implementing the follow measures:
- We are committed to staying open for business and continuing to provide the highest level of service to our clients. We are staying vigilant to follow the ongoing and changing requirements of our health and government officials.
- We have reviewed our critical business functions and are confident we can continue to serve our clients during this time.
- Our office staff are set up to work from home and are encouraged to do so. Before the COVID-19 issue, our IT infrastructure was largely in place to allow us to work remotely. As an added step, our IT team has reviewed our IT infrastructure so that our staff have the tools and resources required to meet project needs while working from home.
- Our field staff continue to work on site at our construction projects. We are taking additional precautions to implement social distancing measures. We are sharing best practices as we continue to learn new ways of protecting each other.
- Employees are encouraged to use video and tele-conferencing for meetings. TCRN staff will continue to be able available via email and phone.
In the coming days and weeks, we will continue to monitor and follow the recommendations from health and government officials. In the meantime, we are doing our best to adapt to changing conditions as they develop. TCRN is a community and we will continue to look out for the well-being of our employees and their families, our clients, and the communities we are part of during this time.
One of the things that brings us all together is that we are all nature lovers at heart. We can continue to take great comfort in spending time outdoors, especially during stressful and uncertain times such as these. With spring ephemerals beginning to emerge and birds returning, if you’re able, we invite you to take a walk in your local park or natural area. Social distancing can be easily accommodated outdoors!
Please stay well and reach out to us if you have questions or concerns.
