Planting the Seed

What began as a small venture operating of our founder’s converted dairy barn in rural southern Wisconsin has grown into a multi-state operation. Today, with hundreds of acres in production, we annually grow thousands of pounds of reliable, local genotype native seed as well as more than 3 million high-quality, native potted plants.

Our passion for native plants is contagious. Taylor Creek Restoration Nurseries has “planted the seed” in numerous companies, organizations, and individuals—helping all of them learn how to embrace the beauty of native ecosystems while restoring biodiversity and improving the health of soil and water.

Our clients include solar companies, agriculture professionals, restoration contractors, public conservation districts, private non-profit conservation groups, landscape companies, other nurseries, and more.
