Fred Faessler

With over 25 years of experience in the field, Fred Faessler is a veteran of the ecological restoration industry. Faessler is a founding member of the Prairie Enthusiasts and continues in an active role providing leadership as a burn boss. For several years, Fred owned and operated his own native seed nursery dedicated to the restoration of areas adjacent to Lake Michigan.  His skill set includes creative problem solving, industrial technology expertise, and customized design of specialized equipment for harvesting and handling native plant species.
